These prospectuses list all of the admission requirements for each faculty. These documents also detail the application procedures.
When applications are accepted: The University of Limpopo (UL) opens applications for all programs in APRIL, and applications for admissions in 2024 are still being accepted. Every year, the university closes between June 1 and October 31. They do not accept applications that are submitted after the deadline.

University Application: There are two ways to apply to the university. The applicant must decide between these two submission options, manual application and online application.
Application fee payable in 2024: In 2024, there will be an application fee of R200 for South African applicants and R750 for international applicants. This applies to both South African and non-South African applicants. Proof of payment must be mailed to the institution or posted through the portal before the deadline. The supplementary materials: Without these documents, the application will not be processed for consideration for the 2023/2024 academic year. Remember to scan them if applying online.
- Your ID if you are a South African citizen
- Your passport if you are an international student
- If you are under the age of 18, your guardian/ID parent’s or passport
- National Senior Certificate if you have already matriculated
- Your final Grade 11 results with the school’s Stamp if you are still in Grade
- If you are a current student at another institution of higher learning, only your academic record will be considered.
- USAF accreditation from the examination board for South African universities. Only if you are an international student.
Have you forgotten your login details: Forgetting your pin and student number is common. The University of Limpopo has provided the following processes for students to apply for a new pin for this course.
- Visit the “Login window” https://ultrhe01.ul.ac.za/pls/prodi03/w99pkg.mi_login
- Click on “Forgotten your PIN”.
- Read the instruction and complete the open requested fields. Click “Next”.
- Your PIN will be sent to your email address and the cell phone number you applied with
