Is Rhodes University Open For 2025-2026 applications?

Rhodes University, one of the good universities in South Africa, has opened its applications for the 2025 January intake, so apply now before it’s too late! Applications will close on September 30, 2024, at midnight.

The online application process for the January 2025 intake at Rhodes University (RU) will remain open until September 30, 2024. Download and complete the online application form for the university, along with the required documents, for submission by September 30, 2024, if you are applying from South Africa or other parts of the world. South African and international applicants must apply by September 30, 2024.

All undergraduate and postgraduate applicants, both locally and internationally, will be able to apply to study at Rhodes University starting April 1, 2024.

Please keep in mind that students and prospective students enrolled in or about to enrol in NSFAS-approved courses for the 2025–2026 academic year can apply for financial aid. Because the NSFAS promotes and encourages South African youth to pursue specific courses, international students are exempt from applying for financial aid. Students at Rhodes University who do not qualify for NSFAS funding should look for other options.

To apply manually at Rhodes University, go to www.ru.ac.za and fill out the application form. Download and print the application form to complete by hand. You must fill out the form with a pen and fill in all the required fields with accurate information. After completing it, you can submit it, along with all supporting documents to the STUDENT BUREAU RHODES UNIVERSITY PO BOX 94 GRAHAMSTOWN 6140 by September 30, 2024. To access ROSS, you must first register as an online user and/or receive login information from Rhodes University.

After selecting your qualifications, complete the form.

Application Fee at Rhodes University for 2025-2026

To apply for admission to the 2025–2026 academic year, applicants must submit a non-refundable application fee of R100 to Rhodes University before the deadline of September 30, 2024. The application fee is the same for all applicants in 2025–2026.
