Flavius Mareka TVET College is now accepting applications for the 2026 academic year for all courses offered, providing an opportunity to develop valuable skills in fields like engineering, business, and more. Space is limited, so prospective students are encouraged to apply early. The application deadline is November 30, 2025, and late submissions will not be accepted.

Flavius Mareka College Application Requirements for the 2026 academic intake

All applicants must attest (certify) to the following documents and scan them in order to upload them during the online application process, as instructed by the system.

For Local Applicants

  • Final Grade 9/Grade10/Grade11 results
  • Senior certificate (with an exception for Bachelor’s degree) or Senior certificate Vocational (with an endorsement for, e.g., a degree, diploma, or certificate)
  • Cambridge School Certificate A/O Level IGCSE/HIGCSE NSSC Higher/Ordinary Level, IEB
  • Conditional grade 12 exemption certificate
  • N3/N4/N5/N6 results
  • Certified copies of the statement of results
  • Academic record and certificate of conduct if registered at another higher education institution (original)
  • Certified copies of ID document or birth certificate

For International Students

  • Original SAQA evaluation
  • Academic record and certificate of conduct if registered at another higher education institution (original)
  • Certified copy of passport
  • Study Permit

How to Apply Online

  • Ensure you have a strong internet connection and use a reliable browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
  • Go to https://flaviusmareka.coltech.co.za or https://flaviusmareka.net.
  • Click on “SELECT A COURSE” and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure to choose the correct campus and course.
  • Fill in all required fields. A green tick will confirm a section is complete.
  • Submit all required documents for your application.
  • The college’s selection committee will review your application. Regularly check your email for updates on your application status and next steps.
  • If your status is “PROVISIONALLY ACCEPTED,” you have 48 hours to accept the offer. Log into the student portal, click “VIEW DETAIL,” then “ACCEPT AND SUBMIT.” If you do not accept within 48 hours, the offer will expire.
  • Once accepted, your status changes to “PRE-ENROLLED.” Contact the college to book a timeslot for the CAP Test, which is a placement test, not an IQ test.
  • Full-time students must pay a R500 registration fee, while part-time students pay the full course fee or provide proof of an approved bursary. The R500 is part of the total class fees. Banking details will be sent via email.
  • Check your email for registration dates and visit the campus on the specified dates. You must be pre-enrolled and bring all registration documents.
  • After registration, go to the Student Card Studio on campus to take your photo and receive your student card. You will be notified by SMS when classes will start.
