University of Limpopo (UL) Online Application Open for 2025-2026

Is the University of Limpopo (UL) online application open for 2025-2026?: The University of Limpopo typically opens applications for the following academic year on April 1.

Applications for the University of Limpopo (UL) for the 2025-2026 academic year are officially open on April 1, 2024, and are set to be closed on October 30th, 2024, for all undergraduate programs and October 31st, 2024, for PGCE programs. The deadline for MBChB programs is even earlier, on September 28th, 2024.

Please be aware that after the deadline, no late applications will be considered. As a result, applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

The University of Limpopo (UL) accepts applications online only. You can access the online application portal through the university’s website: https://www.ul.ac.za. From April 1 to October 31, 2024, for the 2025–2026 application season.

How to Apply to the University of Limpopo (UL) Online for the 2025–2026 intake

To apply for undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications at UL for the academic year 2025-2026, follow the steps below: www.ul.ac.za Online Application 2025 Undergraduate:

You are to log in in step 1

  • To apply online for the 2023 academic year, go to www.ul.ac.za.
  • Log in to Ienabler.
  • Navigate to the page’s academic application.

Complete Your Application in Step 2

  • Get an online application form.
  • Fill out the online application form with the necessary information. The REQUIRED/OBLIGATED An asterisk (*) indicates a required field. If you fail to meet any of these requirements, your application will be rejected.
  • Accept the application guidelines after reviewing them.
  • Go back to your old school and write down the name of the school.
  • Attend school and drop subjects
  • Navigate to the Disabilities page.
  • Select the options and click Save to save the changes.

Upload The Necessary Documents in Step 3

  • Gather your documents or upload additional or overdue documents.
  • These documents must be submitted in the format specified by the university.

Submit Your Completed Application Form In Step 4

  • Submit your completed online application form and supporting documentation. Before clicking the Button or sending the hardcopy via mail or hand delivery, double-check that everything is correct.
  • Enter your academic qualification, save, and proceed.

Pay The Ul Application Fee In Step 5

  • The handling fee for online applications is R200 for South African applicants and R750 for international applicants. See below for information on how to pay before the deadline.
  • Deposits should be made to the University of Limpopo, Standard Bank Account No. 030131405, using the applicant’s ID or passport numbers as a reference.

An applicant who qualifies for any of the available courses must upload the following documents as part of the application process for 2025

  • Your ID if you are a South African citizen
  • Your passport if you are an international student
  • If you are under the age of 18, your guardian’s, ID parent’s, or passport
  • National Senior Certificate if you have already matriculated
  • Your final Grade 11 results with the school’s Stamp if you are still in Grade
  • If you are a current student at another institution of higher learning, only your academic record will be considered.
  • USAF accreditation from the examination board for South African universities. Only if you are an international student.
  • Apply to mbsaf.3.za for conditional exemption, foreign conditional exemption, or mature age conditional exemption.

Admission Requirements for the University of Limpopo in 2025

Bachelor exemption for the National Senior Certificate (NSC)

Prospective students with an NSC who wish to enroll in any undergraduate programme at the University of Limpopo must meet the following requirements:

  • Life orientation with an achievement level of at least three (3).
  • English as a language of learning and teaching with a proficiency level of at least three is in accordance with the university’s language policy (3).
  • The required minimum levels of achievement in specific subjects, as stipulated in the calendars of each faculty, provided that:
    • Four 20-credit subjects were achieved with a minimum NSC achievement level of four (4) for degree programmes and
    • Four 20-credit subjects were achieved with a minimum NSC achievement level of three (3) for diploma programmes

Matriculation Certificate (prior 2008)

  • By changing their grade symbols to an APS, students who successfully finished Grade 12 before 2008 can apply for admission to the university with the standard Grade 12 Senior Certificate and full university exemption.

National Certificate (Vocational)

  • Students who have successfully completed a National Certificate Vocational NC(V) Level 4 qualification will require the following and will be subject to Faculty Admission Specifications and Placement Tests:
  • NC(V) level 4 certificate with 3 fundamental subjects at 60% (life orientation included) and 4 relevant vocational subjects at 70% for degree programmes.
  • NC(V) level 4 certificate with 3 fundamental subjects at 50% (life orientation included) and 3 compulsory vocational subjects at 60% for diploma programmes.

Qualifications other than the NSC

  • Prospective students should get verification of the qualification from Higher Education South Africa (HESA).
