WITS Application Fee Banking Details: WITS Admission 2023 applicants must pay an application fee, which varies based on the candidate’s country of origin. This application fee is for undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in applying for admission in 2023. This cost must be received by the university before the admissions deadline. 2023 Wits Application Deadline for all Application fees

The following are the official closing dates for WITS University:

  • 30 June 2022 – Faculty of Health Sciences (all programmes); Bachelor of Architecture; Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology; BA Film and TV
  • 30 September – All other University programmes
  • 30 September – Residence applications

Cost of Application at WITS University for 2023

  • An applicant who is ready to apply for admission at WITS University must be ready to pay a non-refundable amount of R100 (South African citizens) AND R700 (International Applicants) before the official closing date for 2023.

How to Pay: To make payments, an application can use any of the following methods.

Bank Deposit

  • Standard Bank, Account name: Wits University – Application Fees. Current Account Number: 200 346 385, Branch code: Braamfontein 004 805. CI Number 074A. (International payment swift code: SBZAZAJJ). As a reference, use your person/student number.

Cash Payments

  • Pay by cash or credit card at the Wits Fees Office, Ground Floor, Solomon Mahlangu House), Braamfontein Campus East, Jorissen Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, South Africa. Use your person/student number as the reference. This method is usually used by South Africa Applicants.

Electronic Fund Transfer

  • EFT – Use your Person/Student number as the reference and the Banking details shown above.

Quick Notice for All Applicants

Students will not be able to register for programs (degrees) unless they have paid 75 percent of the annual fees (tuition, foreign registration fee, and on-campus housing) or have proof of sponsorship prior to registration.
