The University of KwaZulu-Natal has released its application fee policy for the 2026 academic year, which is based on the applicant’s country of origin. This charge applies to both undergraduate and graduate candidates. Payment is required in advance of the given admission dates. Start your University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN) application early for 2026! Applications open on April 1, 2025. The payment of the application fee also starts on April 1, 2025
- Medicine has a strict deadline of June 30, 2025; no late applications, including late payment of the application fee, are accepted.
- For all other programs, apply and pay the relevant application fee by September 30, 2025. Late applications are considered only if space remains after the deadlines.
- Apply and pay early! The university prioritizes early applications and payments and may not open a late application window if too many applications come in early.
