UFS Late Online Application 2024/2025:
All applicants who wish to apply for the first time or for a second chance (Previous Applicants) should visit the official website and begin their late application. All potential students who were unable to apply during the initial application window but wish to attend the University of the Free State in the 2024/2025 academic year can now do so through the application portal.
Required Documents for Late Application
When applying for undergraduate studies, please include copies of the following documents in PDF or JPEG format:
- Your ID if you are a South African citizen
- Your passport if you are an international student
- Your parent’s ID or passport if you are younger than 18
- Your final Grade 11 results with the school’s stamp
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Grade 12 IEB certificate if you have already matriculated
- Your academic record, only if you are/were a student at another institution of higher learning
- USAF accreditation from the examination board for South African universities
UFS Application Opening Dates:
2024/2025 UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN for 2024/2025 admissions. The application portal is now accessible for all prospective applicants who are interested in applying for 2023 admission at the University of Free State.
- 1 April 2024 Applications to study any undergraduate programme offered on the Bloemfontein and Qwaqwa Campuses in 2024/2025
- 1 July 2024 Applications to study any Access Programme (AP) offered on the South Campus and the sub-regions in 2024/2025
UFS Application Deadlines for 2024/2025:
If your application is received after the closing dates, it will not be considered. Applicants are to ensure that all application forms and supporting documents reach the university best before these deadlines.
UFS Application Fee 2024/2025:
- No application fee is payable by any applicants.
