The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is currently accepting undergraduate applications for its 2025 academic year, both online and offline. The official application and registration period for TUT for the 2025 academic year will open from April 1 through September 30, 2024, for students hoping to apply to study there in 2025. TUT Applications Now Open for 2025/2026 Intake
The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is accepting applications for the 2025–2026 academic year. All applications, including undergraduate, postgraduate, RSA, and non-RSA, are open now and must be submitted by Monday, September 30, 2024. Prospective students are encouraged to apply online as soon as possible, as applications will be rejected after this date.

TUT admits a limited number of students to each program. As a result, we recommend that you apply during the application cycle so that your application is accepted and processed by the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) for the 2025 academic intake, which begins in January 2025.

A citizen of South Africa? Submit these documents
- Copies of your original identity document and
- National Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results
- Proof of Administration fee payment
Foreign applicants from countries other than South Africa? Have these documents ready for submission
- Proof of medical insurance
- Letter of recommendation
- Passport and identification pages
- Transcript, or latest academic result
- Proof of application fee payment
- A valid Visa and a study visa issued by SA embassy in your home country
- South African Qualifications Authority Evaluation Certificate (evaluation of your highest foreign qualifications)
Minimum Entry Requirements to the TUT For 2025-2026
To be eligible for a TUT degree, diploma, or certificate, you must have the following qualifications:
- For the bachelor’s degree and diploma, respectively, you must pass at least four subjects at performance level 4 and four subjects at performance level 3.
- Application fee (R240, non-refundable) paid before or on the closing date
