KUCCPS 2026–2027 Application Portal Now Open
KUCCPS Application Fee Requirements
The minimum placement processing fee payable during application is Ksh500. The cumulative maximum is Ksh1,500. The actual fee depends on the application stage; Ksh500 is charged for school applications and Ksh1,000 for revisions of choices. For revisions of choices, the payment is done once, and the transaction code from the first revision application is used in all subsequent revisions of choices.
KUCCPS Admission Requirements for University Programs
- Minimum Grades: A grade of C+ is required for university degree programs, while C-, D, and E are needed for diploma, craft certificate, and artisan certificate programs.
- Application Platform: All applications must be submitted through the KUCCPS platform.
- Subject Requirements: Applicants must meet the minimum subject criteria set by educational institutions and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Enrollment Not Guaranteed: Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, as program competitiveness and available capacity impact enrollment decisions.

KUCCPS Online Application Guidelines
There are 13 easy steps involved in applying through the KUCCPS. To apply via KUCCPS for the September 2025 intake, take the steps listed below.
Step № 1: Visit the KUCCPS website on www.kuccps.net
Step № 2: Click on the button marked: “Student’s Portal
Step No 3: Click on the button marked “LOGIN.”.
Step № 4: Enter your KCSE index number, year of KCSE, and password (KCPE index or birth certificate number) as provided by your teacher in secondary school.
Step № 5: Click on the button marked: “LOG IN” as shown
Step № 6: Click on the menu link “Institutions” to select your preferred choice
Step № 7: Click on the menu link “Programmes” to choose your preferred course of study
- You can write the code down for application later or add the programme to your course basket by clicking the button marked “ADD” next to the course
- The saved courses can be accessed by either clicking the menu item marked “Course Basket” or on the icon marked “Basket.”
Step № 8: When you are ready to make an application, click on the tab titled “Application/Revision
Step № 9: Click on “APPLY NOW” to proceed
Step № 10: Enter the 7-character programme codes for the programmes that the applicant most prefers
Step № 11: Submit the application form for consideration
Step № 12: Make a payment through Mpesa
- Go to M-PESA on your phone.
- Select Lipa na M-PESA option
- Select the Pay Bill option.
- Enter Business no.
- Enter your Reference number as it was sent to your mobile phone
- Enter the amount you intend to pay.
- Enter your M-PESA PIN and Send
Step № 13: The applicant can keep track of the changes made to the application by visiting the “Application/Revision” tab and moving to the “APPLICATION LOG” page
