University of Johannesburg UJ Online application fee for 2024-2025

For all South Africans and international applicants, the handling or application fee for online applications is waived. Applicants who wish to submit a hardcopy application form may do so at any of the four UJ campuses, or the application may be mailed to the University with an R200 application fee.

Proof of payment must be attached to the application form and submitted as soon as possible before the 2024 intake application deadline. Applicants should be aware that if they do not pay the application fee for 2024, their application will be rejected.

Paying the application fee does not guarantee admission, and your money will not be refunded if you are not accepted for the 2024/2025 academic year. If you are rejected for 2024, you must complete a new application form and pay a new application fee.

Prospective applicants must apply for up to 2 programs from any faculty of their choice, assuming they meet the entry requirements for each. You may apply for two different study options. If you want to apply for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, you must do so separately and provide the necessary documentation for each.

A certified copy of your Grade 12 examination results if you have completed

English Proficiency For Undergraduate programs, proof of IELTS with an overall score of 6 and TOEFL with an average score of 80–104 is required. For those whose high school courses were taught in a language other than English, this is applicable.
