How to Track Your UFS Application Status
To check the status of your UFS application, follow these steps
- Open your browser and go to www.ufs.ac.za.
- Click the “Students” tab
- Select the “KovsieLife” tab.
- Under KovsieLife, click on “Student Self-Service ”
- You will be redirected to the Oracle PeopleSoft system.
- Enter your student number and password.
- After logging in, move to the “Student Services Centre

If you receive an offer to study at the University of the Free State for the 2026 academic year, take the following procedures to accept it.
- Go to the Offer page at www.ufs.ac.za/studyoffer.
- Enter your student ID and the password.
