Walter Sisulu University Supporting Documents

New Applicants: The university considers various post-matric certificates for admission purposes.

The following documents are accepted:

• The certificate “Old Senior”
• The N6 credential is a combination of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) and the National Certificate Vocational (NCV).
• Grade 11 final results, as well as first quarter or mid-year results, if available, must be uploaded by current grade 12 students.
• Candidates for post-matric must provide a matric or equivalent certificate, academic record, and a copy of their ID or passport.

Transfer Applicants: Students from various tertiary institutions are eligible to apply by submitting the following documents:

• Matric Certificate
• Post-Matric Certificate
• Identity Document
• Official Academic Report
• Conduct Certificate.

Foreign or international have their share below:

• A certified copy of your native country’s identification document
• A certified copy of your passport number from your home country
• Study Visa in South Africa
• Medical Report
• English Proficiency For Undergraduate programs, proof of IELTS with an overall score of 6 and TOEFL with an average score of 80–104 is required
• Sworn English Translation of documents (Documents issued in any Language other than English)

Please note: All applicants are to provide a valid email address. Those who will electronically apply must scan their documents, and the size should not exceed 5 MB.
