CPUT Online Application Now Open For 2025-2026

Commencing on May 16, 2024, all aspiring candidates and students will have access to the CPUT online application form and portal for the 2025–2026 academic year. We anticipate that the application form will be available on May 16, 2024, so if you are considering applying to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, you can start your application process on May 16. To that end, before applying for admission to the University of Cape Peninsula, you must compile all required paperwork and data. All eligible and enthusiastic students, irrespective of their nation of birth, will have access to the CPUT application.

CPUT Online Application Date for Undergraduate Courses: 2025

Applications for all undergraduate programs at Cape Peninsula University of Technology will be accepted beginning on May 16, 2024. All incoming and returning students with strong Grade 12 or WASSCE results, or equivalent qualifications, will be able to enrol in and complete all undergraduate courses, including those leading to certificates, diplomas, online learning, bachelor’s degree requirements, and distance learning, starting on May 16, 2024, and ending on October 31, 2024.

CPUT Online Application Date for Postgraduate Courses

For the academic year 2025–2026, prospective students interested in pursuing Masters’ or Doctorate programs at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology can access the CPUT application form from May 16, 2024, to March 15, 2024. Effective May 16, 2024, candidates holding strong bachelor’s or master’s degrees will be able to apply for master’s and doctoral degrees at CPUT, respectively, across all postgraduate programs.

CPUT Online Applications for International Applicants

Applicants from outside of South Africa can begin applying for a course at CPUT on May 16, 2024. Beginning May 16th, 2024, all foreign or international applicants must complete the online application form and upload all required documents.
International applicants must complete Form BI-1738 to apply for a student permit. Beginning May 16, 2023, you may apply at the Department of Home Affairs or the South African High Commission if you are applying from your home country.

CPUT Application Closing Dates for 2025

Prospective applicants must submit all supporting documents, including an application form, as soon as possible before the closing date or deadline. On March 16, 2024, the CPUT will close all applications for the 2025–2026 application year. The application deadlines for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology vary by course or qualification; all courses with application deadlines are listed below.

Applicants under 18 must first download and complete the minor declaration form before starting to apply.
To start with your applications, choose your qualification after reading about the requirement
Complete the online application form by answering all the required questions
Gather and upload all the required documents
Submit your application form for panel review
Follow up and get your application status by visiting cput.ac.za.study/track

There are two ways you can get a form to apply for admission:

Collect a printed form at the Registration and Applications Office on the various campuses.
Completed application forms and accompanying documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office.
