Required Documents for CPUT’s 2026 Online Application

To complete your online application at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), you must upload the following documents:

South African applicants:

  • South African Identify number,
  • Cell phone number,
  • Active Email address,
  • National Senior Certificate (NSC) or your Grade 11 results if still in school.
  • Academic records if transferring from another institution.
  • Proof of payment

International Applicants:

All applicants must present certified and clear copies of the following documents during the application process; incomplete submissions will not be considered.

  • Passport
  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • USAF accreditation (if applicable)

Make sure your documents are clear and submitted in the required format, as incomplete applications will not be considered.

Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Application Fees For 2026

Individuals applying to Cape Peninsula University of Technology for the 2026 academic year using the paper-based application form must pay a R100 application fee with a R150 fee for late applications. Payment must be made before the application deadline. However, online applicants are exempt from paying the application fee, as CPUT offers free online applications.
