To complete your application, you must pay the non-refundable application fee of R240. This payment is required for all applicants, whether for undergraduate or postgraduate studies at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). Please use the following bank details to make the payment:

Entry Requirements for TUT Courses
Below is a summary of the entry requirements students must satisfy to gain admission
Admission Point Score (APS) Calculation:
- Life orientation and subjects achieving level 1 are not included in the APS calculation.
- You need a good APS score depending on the course you wish to apply to.
General Admission Requirements:
To be considered for admission, all applicants must undergo an evaluation process. TUT follows national admission guidelines, requiring:
- Bachelor’s Degrees: A minimum of four subjects passed at performance level 4.
- Diplomas: A minimum of four subjects passed at performance level 3.

Access the Application Enquiry System:
- Go to the Tshwane University of Technology’s website: https://www.tut.ac.za/.
- Click on the “Students” tab.
- Under “Online Services,” select “Application Enquiry System.”
Enter your details:
You have two options to log in:
- Option 1: If you have your ID number, enter it in the “ID Number” field.
- Option 2: If you don’t have your ID number, enter the following details:
- Surname
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
Submit your information:
- Click on the “Submit” button.
View your application status:
- Once you’ve submitted your information, you will be able to see your application status on the screen.
