Are you applying for your dream program? Don’t let a simple formatting error stand between you and acceptance! This guide highlights common pitfalls in application file formats and empowers you to submit a flawless portfolio.
Admission offices handle countless applications, and clear formatting ensures efficient processing and a fair evaluation for every candidate. Disregarding format guidelines often leads to rejected documents, potentially jeopardizing your chances.
Mastering the Maze:
Standardize: Coastal Tvet College has specific file size and format requirements. Stick to 5MB max and choose your file format from tiff, pdf, jpg, or gif.
Scan Savvy: Scanned documents are preferred for clarity and ease of storage. Ensure optimal resolution and legible text.
Separate & Conquer: Combining multiple documents into one file can create chaos. Scan and save each document individually with clear, descriptive filenames.
Application fee for online applications: No application fee will be charged for online applications.
To previous applicants: An applicant must go to the Official website and select ‘Apply’ to complete an application. Choose two study courses to enhance your chance of being accepted in 2025 or 2026.
First-time applicants are to undertake the screening test before moving on to do the online application with the college. The placement test is compulsory for all fresh applicants. This is to help applicants select courses to pursue.
The National Certificate (Vocational) is offered at levels 2, 3, and 4 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Each level takes a full year of study. A student is required to take a total of 7 subjects per level.
