Walter Sisulu University (WSU) is offering a late application window for applicants who missed the first application period. The late application period is limited due to the restricted number of available spots. The official deadline for the first application window has passed, and the specific date for the late application period is shown.

WSU Late Application Deadlines:

International applicants: 30 September 2025
South African applicants: 31 October 2025

Applications submitted after these deadlines will not be considered, although late applications may be reviewed after the official deadline.

Registration Cost:

Only online applications are accepted at WSU. It is a completely free service that does not require any money. This means applicants are not expected to pay any application fee for online application

Could not apply during the first application window
Meets the admission requirements of Walter Sisulu University, i.e. General and specific faculty requirements
Applies and submits the fully Completed application form (Online)
Uploads the required documents in their right format during the online application
Provides active contact information where all communications will take place.

As International Applicants

You will need to first apply to universities in South Africa (Usaf) for evaluation of school results or other degree/diploma certificates.
When you receive the results from USAF, you may commence with the application process and upload the results and a copy of your passport.

What Documents Are Required?

Students must attach a relevant document to substantiate their application forms when applying online at Walter Sisulu University. These forms must be in the correct format for uploading during the online application process or for mailing to the university’s address with the completed application form. Fresh Applicants

The certificate “Old Senior”
The N6 credential is a combination of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) and the National Certificate Vocational (NCV).
Grade 11 final results, as well as first quarter or mid-year results, if available, must be uploaded by current grade 12 students.
Candidates for post-matric must provide a matric or equivalent certificate, academic record, and a copy of their ID or passport.
