Deadline

Although the general 2027 application window opens on March 1, 2026, certain faculties at Wits have different deadlines for applications, as shown below.

Faculty of Health Sciences: June 30, 2026
Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology, BA Film and TV: June 30, 2026
All other undergraduate programs: September 30, 2026
Residence applications: September 30, 2026

Application Fee

The application fee for undergraduate programs at WITS University is currently R100 for South African applicants and R700 for international applicants. All applications must have supporting documentation attesting to the payment of the application fee before the closing date. There is no refund or transfer of the application fees.

When applying for admission at WITS University, the following supporting documents are required for each application season, including the intake of 2027:

Current Matriculants: Upload your final Grade 11 results (no hard copy is required).
Already Matriculated: Upload certified copies of all your matriculation certificates or foreign school leaving certificates.
Other Tertiary Institutions: Upload a certified copy of official academic records for ALL tertiary registrations, inclusive of a statement or certificate of good conduct, stamped by the institution’s registrar.
