WITS University 2026 Application Dates Confirmed

Prospective students interested in attending WITS University for 2026 can now access the application form! Applications at Wits are officially open starting Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Important Deadlines:

• June 30, 2025: Faculty of Health Sciences (all programs), Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology, and BA in Film and TV.
• September 30, 2025: All other programs and residence applications.

We encourage prospective students to submit their wits 2026 applications early to avoid disappointment.

Wits 2026 Application Fee

• South African Citizens: R100 (non-refundable)
• Foreign Citizens: R700 (non-refundable)

Payment Instructions:

• All payments must be made before the application closing date.
• Use your T Number or Person Number as a reference when making your payment.
• The application fee is non-refundable.

Step 3: Complete the Application Form

• Provide all the necessary information with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure that every field is filled out comprehensively before submission.

Step 4: Upload/Provide Supporting Documents

• Don’t forget to provide any required supporting documentation; otherwise, your application form will be considered invalid and may be denied.

Step 5: Settle the Application Fee

• Pay the application fee that applies to you in order to complete submitting your application. You are required to upload the receipt if you paid at the bank

Uploading Required Documents / Wits 2026 Application:

If you didn’t upload supporting documents when you applied, you can still do so through the student self-service portal:

Login:

• Go to https://self-service.wits.ac.za.
• Enter your number and the first six digits of your ID.

Upload your documents:

• Current Matriculants: Upload your final Grade 11 results, certified and stamped by your school.
• Already Matriculated: Upload certified copies of all your matriculation certificates/foreign school leaving certificates. You must also submit original, certified physical copies to the Wits Student Enrollment Centre (SEnC). You can hand deliver them, send them via registered mail, or use a courier service.
• Other Tertiary Institutions: Upload certified copies of your academic records from all institutions you attended, including a statement/certificate of good conduct stamped by the registrar’s office.

Please note:

• All documents must be in PDF format.
• Ensure your certifications are no older than three months.

Acknowledgment Email:

• You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.
• This email will include your personal number, which will become your student number if admitted.
