The following are the official closing dates for WITS University:

30 June 2022 – Faculty of Health Sciences (all programmes); Bachelor of Architecture; Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology; BA Film and TV
30 September – All other University programmes
30 September – Residence applications

Cost of Application at WITS University for 2023

An applicant who is ready to apply for admission at WITS University must be ready to pay a non-refundable amount of R100 (South African citizens) AND R700 (International Applicants) before the official closing date for 2023.

How to Pay: To make payments, an application can use any of the following methods.

Pay by cash or credit card at the Wits Fees Office, Ground Floor, Solomon Mahlangu House), Braamfontein Campus East, Jorissen Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, South Africa. Use your person/student number as the reference. This method is usually used by South Africa Applicants.

Electronic Fund Transfer

EFT – Use your Person/Student number as the reference and the Banking details shown above.

Quick Notice for All Applicants

Students will not be able to register for programs (degrees) unless they have paid 75 percent of the annual fees (tuition, foreign registration fee, and on-campus housing) or have proof of sponsorship prior to registration.
