Vaal University of Technology is one of the topmost universities in South Africa. VUT has four faculties that offer courses in Applied and Computer Sciences, Human Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Management Sciences. 6. VUT offers industry-tailored academic programs.

The management has released the application form for all prospective applicants. On the 1st of April, the management made available on their official website the downloadable application form (Hard Copy).

All aspiring students must confirm that VUT offers the program they want to enroll in and that they fulfill the minimal entrance requirements for admission. The relevant faculty will choose students based on their qualifications, and this decision-making process may involve selection and/or placement tests.

Closing Dates: Every year, the application period for undergraduate programs closes at the end of September.

Please attach certified copies of the following documents. Your application will not be processed without these:

Identity document
Proof of address (not compulsory)Grade 12 or equivalent certificate
Latest Grade 12 report (e.g. June examination)
Certificate of conduct (if previously enrolled at another tertiary institution)
Statement of results (if previously enrolled at another tertiary institution)
Any other formal qualifications you attained

How to apply using a hard copy form: Manual applicants after downloading the application form should follow the steps below to fill out their form:

Complete the application form in full and answer all questions.
Write in plain block letters in the squares and use a black pen.
Mark only the appropriate answer with an X in the squares where options are given

How to submit the hard copy application form with the supporting documents

Hand deliveries: Send the completed form with the above-mentioned to the campus of your choice.

Application fee: Prospective applicants must be ready to pay a non-refundable application fee of R100. Payments will only be accepted by bank deposit and the draft must be attached to the fully completed application form
