UWC Application Fees

That is wonderful news! UWC waives all registration and application fees for 2025 applicants. The University of Western Cape does not charge an application fee for the 2025 academic year.

The University of the Western Cape UWC Admission Requirement 2025-2026

Minimum Requirements

A National Senior Certificate (NSC) Bachelors pass—an achievement rating of 4 (sufficient success 50–59 percent) or better in four courses chosen from the recognized 20 credit NSC subjects (known as the specified subject list)—is the minimum entry requirement.

System of UWC Points

UWC uses a weighted approach to calculate points for admission to degree and diploma programs. A minimal number of points must be obtained in order for a candidate to be admitted to degree programs.
