There is good news for applicants who were unable to apply for the UNIVEN academic year 2024-2025 intake after it closed. The good news is that courses for the January 2024 intake are still available, and applicants who are interested in these courses should visit the official website at www.univen.ac.za as soon as possible to access the late application form.
The University of Venda online application for the January 2024 intake has just closed, and the university has begun the selection process. The deadline for submission was September 30, 2023, and if you have yet to submit your forms, know that the general application for 2024/2025 is closed.

The University of Venda, also known as UNIVEN, is now accepting late online applications for the 2024/2025 academic year. All programs at the University of Venda (UNIVEN) are now accepting late online applications. Prospective students are encouraged to apply for enrollment in the 2024/2025 academic year between January 27 and February 10, 2024. This late application will not be accepted after the deadline of February 10, 2024.
Please keep in mind that the late application deadline at the University of Venda is only valid for a limited time and will not be extended once it has expired. APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO BE ELIGIBLE.
Even though it has been stated unequivocally that the University of Venda will not accept applications after the closing date beginning with the 2024/2025 application cycle. Nonetheless, the university’s administration has considered opening its portal for the second time to allow those interested in studying at UNIVEN to apply for available spaces.
The application portal for the 2024/2025 academic intake at the University of Venda was still open at the time of publication. Documents Required for Univen 2024/2025 Late Applications
Late applicants must submit an online application form along with the following documents.
- A copy of the I.D./Passport document
- Matric certificate/Statement of Results/Grade 11/12 report
- Transcript of academic record and certificate of conduct
- Degree(s)/Diploma certificates
- SAQA Evaluation Certificate (If you are an international applicant)
- Proof of payment
How to Apply For a late 2024/2025 Univen Admissions
To apply for a ate application, the steps below must be followed.
Step 1: Login Details
- Go to the Univen application website: https://www.univen.ac.za
- At the top menu of the page, click on “How to Apply”
Step 2: Create a PIN
- The applicant will be required to create a pin consisting of 5 digits. This pin will be used as a login pin on the student portal when admitted to study with the University
Step 3: Upload the Required Documents
- Gather your documents or upload further/ outstanding documents. These Documents must be in the format required by the university.
Step 4: Pay Your Application Fee
- Pay the Non-Refundable application fee of R100
- During the online application process, you may save and return at a later stage to resume the application process.
Step 5: Submit Your Completed Application
- Submit your completed online application form and documents.
- Review to ensure the right thing is done before clicking on the ‘submit button after completing your online forms
- You will then get a student number.
