Unisa Online Application For 2026

Applications for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications for the 2026 academic year are set to be open from August 11, 2025, to November 14, 2025, at the University of South Africa. Everyone wanting to start a new qualification at UNISA must apply for admission as soon as possible because of limited spaces.

What documents are required by Unisa?

Here are the documents you need to submit when applying to Unisa for the 2026 academic year:

A certified copy of your South African ID document.
A certified copy of your passport.
A certified copy of your senior certificate or equivalent qualification.
If you have completed any tertiary studies, certified copies of your academic record and certificate of conduct.
If any of your documents are not originally in English, you must provide a sworn translation.
A certified copy of your marriage certificate.

Can I apply manually at Unisa for admissions?

Unisa does not accept manual admission applications. All applications must be submitted online through the UNISA admissions website.

Verify that you meet the admission requirements for the qualification you have chosen before applying to UNISA, as not doing so may result in your application being considered unsuccessful.
