UJ 2026 January Late Application Window Now Confirmed
The University of Johannesburg encourages all prospective students who are still interested in pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate programme to begin preparing, as the 2026 late application period is expected to open soon. Applicants will need to complete an online application and pay a non-refundable application fee as part of the process. Admission decisions at UJ are based strictly on academic merit and the availability of space.
Late applications for 2026 are open to anyone who wishes to study at the University of Johannesburg but was unable to apply during the initial admission window. Both domestic and international applicants, including those who do not yet have a UJ student number, are welcome to apply. Since not all programmes will accept late applications, prospective students are advised to check which qualifications are available by visiting the university’s official website.
UJ Anticipated 2026 Late Application Date
Yes, the University of Johannesburg (UJ) does accept late applications, provided that spaces are still available after the official closing date. All submissions must be completed online through the official application portal at www.uj.ac.za. Manual applications will not be processed during the 2026 late application period. Therefore, walk-ins, email submissions, and faxed applications will not be accepted.
