Applications for regular undergraduate students at the University of Johannesburg UJ for the academic year 2024-2025 are expected to open on April 1, 2024. Applicants seeking undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications should use a laptop connected to the internet to access the online application form at the University of Johannesburg’s application portal at www.uj.ac.za. On April 1, 2024, the online application form for UJ University will be available to all applicants.

Undergraduate first-year students who have already applied for 2024 can now check the status of their final application based on their matric results. In other words, academic performance is more important than first-come, first-served at the University of Johannesburg (UJ)

University of Johannesburg UJ Application Dates for 2025-2026

The administration of the University of Johannesburg UJ has announced the application deadlines for all South African applicants for the 2025–2026 applications. All applications (undergraduate, postgraduate, RSA, and non-RSA) are now open for the academic year 2025-2026 and are expected to close on October 31, 2024, for applicants outside of South Africa. South African applicants, on the other hand, have until October 31, 2024, to submit all required documents.

For applicants seeking a course in the postgraduate department, the deadline for submitting all application documents for panel review is October 30, 2024. As a result, prospective students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) are encouraged to apply online as soon as possible. After this date, applications will be rejected. Please apply during the application cycle before the closing date to ensure your application is considered for the 2025–2026 academic intake.

Prospective applicants must follow these simplified application processes to apply online at UJ

Access the internet.
Enter “www.uj.ac.za/apply” in the search box.
Select “New Applicant” from the drop-down menu.
To indicate your student number, select Yes or No from the drop-down box.
To indicate if you’re returning to finish an unfinished application, select Yes or No from the drop-down menu.
Choose your course after examining the specific course requirements. This stage is very key to gaining admission to this university. Consult people if you don’t know what to choose.
If applicable, enter a qualification token.
Read the clause that appears. Select “I Accept” from the drop-down menu.
To continue, select the “Next” option.
Fill in your passport or ID number.
