Tshwane University Offers Second Chance for Applicants Through Late Applications
When the regular application window closes in September, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) will accept applications for programs with available space. If you want to attend TUT but are unable to do so by the deadline, make sure to check their website for programs that are still available and submit your application as soon as possible.
How can I apply at TUT for 2025–2026?
Use the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) online site because it is straightforward and convenient. Your application form will be processed immediately, however the hard copy will take a few days.
How to Apply TUT Online
1. Visit the TUT website:
- Go to the official Tshwane University of Technology website: https://www.tut.ac.za/
2. Find the application portal:
- Look for the “Admissions” or “Apply Now” button on the homepage. It’s usually located in the top right corner.
3. Create an account or log in:
- If you’re a new applicant, click “Create Account” and follow the instructions to register.
- If you’ve applied before, log in using your existing username and password.
4. Start the application process:
- Select whether you have a student number (if this is your first time applying, you won’t have one).
- Choose if you’re returning to complete a previous application.
- Indicate if you have a Qualification Specific Token (given to specific students with pre-defined qualifications).
- Agree to the consent form and follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Complete the application form:
- Carefully fill in all required information, including:
- Personal details (name, contact information, ID number)
- Academic qualifications (certificates, transcripts)
- Programme you’re applying for
- Supporting documents (upload scanned copies of certificates, ID, etc.)
6. Pay the application fee:
- The application fee varies depending on your nationality and program. Follow the instructions to pay online using a credit card or debit card.
7. Submit your application:
- Review your application thoroughly for any errors or missing information.
- Once you’re satisfied, click “Submit Application.”

Documents Required for 2026
For your application to be submitted successfully, these documents must accompany your Applications
- A fully completed application form
- Recently certified (certification may not be not older than one year)
- Copies of your original identity document and
- National Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results
- Proof of Administration fee payment
Admission Entry Requirement at TUT
A prospective student will not be admitted to any qualification without submitting a formal application form with all prescribed supporting documents and completing all official admission procedures – refer to the TUT prospectuses for detailed requirements and procedures.

You can print the application and fill it out by hand before submitting it. Fill out all of the required fields in black ink when completing the application. Attach all necessary documents and mail or deliver it to any of TUT’s campuses.
How to Track TUT application
Follow the steps below to monitor the progress of your 2026 application:
- Go to the TUT status website: https://ienabler.tut.ac.za/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login
- Enter your STUDENT NUMBER in the space provided
- Then, enter your PIN or PASSWORD (5 numeric digits)
- To track the progress of your application, click Login to access the status portal.
- If you have forgotten your password or pin, click on “Forgot Pin” to reset your pin.
