Tshwane University of Technology is inviting prospective students and all interested youth who are yet to secure a spot at any university for the 2026 academic year to apply, as late admissions are currently open. Late applications remain available to the general public for a limited number of programmes and will close soon.

TUT Provides Late Admissions:
All undergraduate students now have another opportunity to apply to study at TUT, as the university is accepting late applications for those who missed the initial deadline. The late application period applies only to courses with available space after the 30th September 2025 deadline. Therefore, you need to review all the published courses carefully and ensure you apply only for programmes that are open for late admission.

When is the deadline for TUT Late Application (2026)
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) late applications will be processed online from 15 to 23 January 2026 for programmes where space is still available. No walk-ins permitted during this late application period.
How do I submit a late application to TUT?
Follow the guide below to apply now:
STEP 1
- Go to the TUT website at www.tut.ac.za
- At the top of the TUT homepage, click on the “MENU” tab
- A drop-down list of items appears
- Click on “Study at TUT.”
- After that, click on “I want to study.”
STEP 2:
- Read the information you see on the screen very carefully
- Then, click on “What can I study” on the left side of the page to view TUT’s various programmes and courses for 2022 and their specific admission requirements and decide on the programme of choice
- Click on the “Admission Point Score” to know the specific TUT AP Score for 2025. This is to assist prospective students to check if they meet the minimum course entry requirements before they
- apply for a specific course at TUT.

Step 3:
- Go to Application information, complete and submit your application online.
- Check your status after a few weeks as the late application is open for a short period.

Documents Required for Late Admission
An applicant must submit the following Documents
- A fully completed application form
- Recently certified (certification may not be not older than one year)
- Copies of your original identity document and
- National Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results
- Proof of Administration fee payment
TUT Late Application Fee
Your application form must be accompanied by an R240 application fee. This money covers the administrative costs of processing application forms, and it is non-refundable if your application is denied. The application fee can be made by direct bank deposit, electronic/Internet transfer or by postal order.
