Have you had problems applying to TUT before the deadline? Would you still like to apply for the 2025 academic intake? Then there is some good news! Tshwane University of Technology has officially announced the opening and closing dates for late applications for several accredited degrees/diploma courses. This is to encourage anyone who has not yet applied for admission to these courses for the 2025 academic year to do so.
TUT Provides Late Admissions:
All undergraduate students may now apply for late admission to Tshwane University of Technology for the 2025 academic year. In other words, TUT has reopened its application process to the public, so now is the ideal time to apply if you missed the initial application deadline. Before the deadline, candidates should submit their applications as soon as feasible. By registering to study for the 2025 academic year, you can make amends for your earlier mistakes.

When is the deadline for TUT Late Application
TUT’s management has announced that the late application form for 2025 is now officially open to everyone interested. Enrollment will be considered based on the availability of the courses selected by each applicant. TUT is going to consider a small number of applicants because the remaining courses are limited. You have until Friday, January 24, 2025, to apply and submit all the application documents.
How do I submit a late application to TUT?
Follow the guide below to apply now:
STEP 1
- Go to the TUT website at www.tut.ac.za
- At the top of the TUT homepage, click on the “MENU” tab
- A drop-down list of items appears
- Click on “Study at TUT.”
- After that, click on “I want to study.”
STEP 2:
- Read the information you see on the screen very carefully
- Then, click on “What can I study” on the left side of the page to view TUT’s various programmes and courses for 2022 and their specific admission requirements and decide on the programme of choice
- Click on the “Admission Point Score” to know the specific TUT AP Score for 2025. This is to assist prospective students to check if they meet the minimum course entry requirements before they
- apply for a specific course at TUT.

Step 3:
- Go to Application information, complete and submit your application online.
- Check your status after a few weeks as the late application is open for a short period.

Documents Required for Late Admission
An applicant must submit the following Documents
- A fully completed application form
- Recently certified (certification may not be not older than one year)
- Copies of your original identity document and
- National Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results
- Proof of Administration fee payment
TUT Late Application Fee
Your application form must be accompanied by an R240 application fee. This money covers the administrative costs of processing application forms, and it is non-refundable if your application is denied. The application fee can be made by direct bank deposit, electronic/Internet transfer or by postal order.
