Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has opened applications for the 2027 academic year! If you’re looking to study at one of South Africaโ€™s top institutions, this is your chance to apply for a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Applications are open from 1 April 2026 until 30 September 2027. Late applications may be reviewed only if there are still spaces available after the official closing date.

TUT 2027 Application Period

TUT is unable to accept every applicant because of limited space, so itโ€™s important to make sure your application is complete and submitted within the official application period. Before applying, confirm that you meet all the admission requirements for your chosen programme, as selection is based strictly on academic performance and available space.

TUT 2027 Application Fee Requirements

Before starting your TUT 2027 application, itโ€™s important to note the application fee. All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of R240 when submitting their application. This amount must be paid at the time of application and will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Late Application

Mode of TUT 2027 Application

Basically, you need to pass your Grade 12 final examination and be proficient in English/Afrikaans.   • Generally, a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a minimum of 4 subjects passed at a minimum of 50% is required.
