If you missed the main application window, there is good news. Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) late applications for 2026 are officially open from 15 to 31 January 2026. However, late applications will only be available for programmes with remaining spaces, which means only a limited number of students will be accepted, so it is important to apply as quickly as possible.
TUT late applications for the 2026 academic intake are strictly limited, highly competitive, and processed fully online. No walk-ins will be allowed. Below is everything you need to know.
Who Can Apply During TUT Late Applications 2026?
The TUT late applications are open to:
- New applicants who still have fewer than five programme choices on their TUT application profile
- Applicants who meet the minimum admission requirements
- Students whose chosen programmes still have available spaces
- Applicants submitting authentic and verifiable documents
Take Note: Submitting fraudulent documents or using the same document for multiple different applicants will be flagged as fraud and will result in direct rejection of the application.
Required Documents for TUT Late Application 2026
Have the following ready (certified where applicable):
- Certified copy of ID / Passport
- Grade 12 results / Statement of results
- Final Grade 11 results (if upgrading or awaiting results)
- Proof of application fee payment
- Supporting documents for excluded students (if applicable)
- Proof of residence (if requested)
- Marriage certificate / name change proof (if applicable)
- International students:
- Study permit
- SAQA evaluation (if required)
N.B.: Make sure your documents are clear, valid, and not older than 3 months where certification is needed.
