TUT Re-admission Application Dates for 2026

All prospective students who want to pursue their career ambitions are invited to Tshwane University of Technology! The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is currently accepting applications for re-admission. TUT has officially reopened the readmission portal for the 2026 intake. The reapplication period begins on March 1st, 2025, and ends on September 30th, 2025.

No late applications will be accepted at TUT for the 2026 academic intake. Don’t wait until the last minute and risk missing out on this opportunity.

Who is Eligible for TUT Readmission?

Former TUT students who have not registered for more than one year.
Students who have completed their studies at another accredited institution but wish to pursue further qualifications at TUT.
Individuals seeking to change their program of study within TUT.
You may apply to rejoin the TUT in 2026 If you are a Durban or Cape Town student who was not enrolled or active before the beginning of 2025.

Choose your desired program and campus.
Complete the online application form.

Admission Requirements at TUT

For an Applicant to gain admission at TSHWANE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, the following requirement must be met:

A pass mark in English at Senior Certificate level (minimum additional language; certain programmes may require first or home language status)
