The University of Pretoria’s online application for the 2026 academic year opened on April 1, 2025. All prospective students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, must apply online through www.up.ac.za, as paper-based applications are not accepted. Be sure to submit all necessary documents, including the application fee payment proof. The University of Pretoria is only accepting online applications for the 2026 academic year. They will not accept applications submitted by hand delivery, fax, email, or mail.

Step 1: Selection Criteria
- You must meet the minimum and the faculty requirements of the selected course.
- Apply for three study courses on the same form
- Submit only one application form for 2026
- Submit a completed form.

- If applicable, proof that you are currently improving your NSC results
- In an affidavit, a brief description of activities post-matric/NSC

- Application fee for the 2026 academic intake is R300 (30 US dollars)
