Is University of Limpopo Open For 2025-2026 Application?

The University of Limpopo admissions process for the 2025–2026 school year is now open until October 31st, 2025! Please complete the 2025–2026 University of Limpopo (UL) application form to apply as soon as possible. Follow all the instructions in the application. Applications will be reviewed by the admissions office of the university for an offer based on the entry requirements and the availability of space.

The University of Limpopo will only accept one application form from you for the 2025–2026 application season, but you are entitled to select up to three study courses based on your qualifications. Please remember that the University of Limpopo application is officially open for the 2025–2026 academic year from Saturday, June 1, 2024, and will close on Thursday, October 31, 2024. An applicant who misses this deadline must wait to apply for the next application window because no late applications will be accepted

Applying for a study course at the University of Limpopo (UL) for 2024-2025

Students who wish to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Limpopo (UL) should do so separately for the academic year 2025-2026 and provide the necessary documentation for each. Applicants will, however, only pay one application fee for both qualifications.

University of Limpopo (UL) Online Application Dates for 2025-2026

The application window for all programs for the 2025–2026 academic year opens on June 1, 2024, and it closes on Saturday, November 30, 2024, for undergraduate programs. On the other hand, postgraduate program online applications will close on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

If you have not submitted all of the required application documentation listed in this post, your application will be rejected. Please remember that if you do not submit the required documentation within two months, your application will be rejected.

The university receives more applications than it can handle, and meeting admissions requirements does not guarantee acceptance. If you are rejected by the University of Limpopo (UL), you can reapply for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Admission to an academic program does not guarantee acceptance into any university residences. A separate application for accommodation must be submitted to the Residence / Housing Administration.

University of Limpopo (UL) Application Fee for 2025–2026

Online applications have a handling fee of R200 for South African applicants and R750 for international applicants. You are hereby encouraged to pay the fee before the deadlines, because applications received after the deadlines will not be accepted. The University of Limpopo (UL) applications are only accepted between June 1 and October 31, 2024.

How can I pay for my 2025 application?

The University of Limpopo provides two ways to pay for your application as soon as possible

You can make payment through your credit or debit card, and you will receive acknowledgement immediately after your payment is received by the university.
You can choose to pay to the designated bank with the details provided on the official website. This is not a credit agreement; it requires no credit checks, and your application will be deemed valid as soon as your deposit payment slip is uploaded.

University of Limpopo (UL) Application Requirements For 2025-2026

Below are the documents to be attached for undergraduate and postgraduate Graduate Applicants

Undergraduate

Your ID if you are a South African citizen
Your passport if you are an international student
If you are under the age of 18, your guardian’s, ID parent’s, or passport
National Senior Certificate if you have already matriculated
Your final Grade 11 results with the school’s Stamp if you are still in Grade
If you are a current student at another institution of higher learning, only your academic record will be considered.
USAF accreditation from the examination board for South African universities. Only if you are an international student.
Apply to mbsaf.3.za for conditional exemption, foreign conditional exemption, or mature age conditional exemption.

Postgraduate

Matric exemption certificate (including subject marks)
ID document, passport, work permit or Study permit
Diploma/Degree certificate/s
Comprehensive academic record (indicating marks obtained for subjects)
Certificate of registration with the relevant professional council (if applicable)
Letter of appointment as a registrar with a date of assumption of duty: applicants for M Med and M Dent students NB: letter from the employer, e.g., hospital HR.
Motivational letter and CV (for Health applicants only)
Medical aid (Non-South Africans)
Students with non-South African qualifications must attach a SAQA evaluation certificate with their previous degrees obtained

How to Apply for University of Limpopo (UL) Online Application 2025-2026

To apply online at the University of Limpopo (UL) for 2024-2025, follow the procedure below:

STEP 1: LOGIN DETAILS

Go to www.ul.ac.za to apply online for the 2025 academic year
Log in to the Ienabler
Go to the academic application on the page

STEP 2: FILL OUT YOUR APPLICATION

Obtain an online application form; • Complete the online application form with the required information. The REQUIRED/COMPULSORY field is marked with an asterisk (*). If you forfeit any of these, your application will be nullified.
Review the application guidelines and accept them.
Go to the school you attended and save the name of the school.
Go to school and drop out of subjects
Go to the Disabilities page. • Choose the options and save the changes by clicking Name.

STEP 3: UPLOAD THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Gather your documents or upload further or outstanding documents. These Documents must be in the format required by the university

STEP 4: SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM

Submit your completed online application form and documents. Review to ensure the right thing is done before clicking on the Button or sending the hardcopy either by mail or hand delivery
Enter your academic preference qualification, save, and continue.
