Is UCT Still Open For Late Applications 2024/2025

There is good news for applicants who were unable to apply for the UCT academic year 2024-2025 intake after it closed. The good news is that courses for the January 2024 intake are still available, and applicants who are interested in these courses should visit the official website at www.uct.ac.za as soon as possible to access the late application form.

The University of Cape Town online application for the January 2024 intake has just closed, and the university has begun the selection process. The deadline for submission was September 30, 2023, and if you have yet to submit your forms, know that the general application for 2024/2025 is closed.

Please keep in mind that the late application deadline at the University of Cape Town is only valid for a limited time and will not be extended once it has expired. APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO BE ELIGIBLE.

Even though it has been stated unequivocally that the University of Cape Town will not accept applications after the closing date beginning with the 2024/2025 application cycle. Nonetheless, the university’s administration has considered opening its portal for the second time to allow those interested in studying at UCT to apply for available spaces.

The application portal for the 2024/2025 academic intake at the University of Cape Town was still open at the time of publication. Any courses that are not full will be announced and released by UCT for the general public to apply for. You must check the official website on a regular basis to see if the portal for late application 2024/2025 is open so you can begin applying.

Why You Must Act Quickly

In contrast, the University of Cape Town does not accept applications after the official closing date. If there are still courses available at the university at the end of the general application cycle, this is a fantastic opportunity to seize. Before completing the online application form, you should check the official website to see if there are still courses available for the 2024/2025 academic intake.

Late Applications at UCT and their Implications for 2024/2025

If you have a good grade and meet the admission requirements of your desired course but did not apply during the main application cycle, you are eligible to apply for a late application for the 2024 intake. You are not permitted to reapply if you have not received feedback from UCT on your 2024/2025 application. In essence, applicants for the academic year 2024/2025 are only permitted to submit one application form.

The University of Cape Town’s online and paper application deadline is September 30, 2023, but undergraduate courses will close as early as July 31, 2023.

If you are wondering if the University of Cape Town’s application portal is still open to new applicants for 2024, we are happy to inform you that the official closing date for the University of Cape Town is 30 September 2023, except for a few postgraduate courses. After July 31, 2023/2024, all undergraduate courses will be discontinued.
