Decide what course (qualification) you want to study at the Central University of Technology
Choosing the right course is crucial for your university education and future career. Before making a decision, ensure that your desired course is offered at the Central University of Technology. Review the brochure to explore the available courses and make an informed choice.
What is required to be able to study that course (admission requirements)?
To increase your chances of admission, it’s important to meet the entry requirements for your chosen course at the Central University of Technology. Less competitive courses may offer a higher likelihood of acceptance, so be sure to meet both the minimum and faculty-specific requirements. Download the CUT prospectus to understand all the necessary prerequisites for your course.
Where will you stay during your studies (accommodation)?
Accommodation is one of the challenges that university administrators face, and the Central University of Technology is no exception. Because of the large student population, it is nearly impossible to provide facilities for every student on campus. If you are unable to obtain on-campus housing, you must prepare a backup plan.
How do you intend to finance your studies?
Do you have the financial means to fund your tertiary education? If not, begin looking for sources of financial assistance. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is one of the options. Every year in September, they open their applications. Once your application is approved, your tuition, transportation, books, and living expenses will be covered. You will be paid a monthly stipend. Visit the official website for more information.
