Required Documents for Ikhala TVET College’s 2026 Online Application

South African applicants:
- A year-end school report for Grades 11 or 12 certificates
- An NQF 1 qualification
- An approved bridging programme designed for the specific purpose of accessing NQF Level 2
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2
- Grades 9 and 10 will be considered only in exceptional cases
International Applicants:
All applicants must present certified and clear copies of the following documents during the application process; incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- Passport
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- USAF accreditation (if applicable)

What are the minimum programme entry requirements?
Before being considered for admission at Ikhala, all applicants are expected to fulfil the following requirements.
- NC(V) programmes – a Grade 9 pass
- Engineering N1-N3 programmes – a Grade 11 pass with 50% Maths or Grade 12 with Maths / Maths lit 50%
- National N Diploma N4-N6 Programmes – a Grade 12 pass
