Nelson Mandela University Nursing Requirements

All prospective applicants must meet the requirements below to apply for Nursing qualification at Nursing Mandela University

Applicants must possess a minimum qualification of a National Senior Certificate (NSC)
Applicants must have passed Grade 12 Maths and Physical Science (or equivalents) with an average of at least 60%.
Applicants must have a minimum of English home language at the NSC level with an average of at least 50%.
Applicants must have Mathematics Literacy (or equivalent) at the NSC level by at least 50%.
Applicants must pass the Nursing Pre-Entrance Examination with a minimum score of 65%.
Applicants must have a valid health certificate prior to admission.

Applicants must submit a motivational statement regarding why they would like to pursue a nursing qualification.
Applicants should have at least four years of relevant working experience if they possess qualifications equivalent to the NSC (e.g. FET Certificate).
