Univen Applications Open for 2026 Academic Year: Apply Now

As stated in the introduction, the University of Venda (Univen) is presently accepting applications for the academic year 2026, which runs from April to September. All undergraduate and postgraduate programs are currently accepting applications. Prospective students should assemble their documentation and apply online at www.univen.ac.za. The university does not accept late applications, so apply as soon as possible to ensure a spot for the forthcoming academic year.

Univen Online application fee and courses offered 

Prospective applicants must apply for up to 3 programs from any faculty of their choice, assuming they meet each entry requirement. You may apply for two different study options at the University of Venda.

The application fee is required for submission and is non-refundable if you are not accepted to study at the University of Venda for the academic year 2026. Univen requires an application fee of R100 to process an application form for admission for 2026

How to Apply For Univen 2026 Admissions

To submit a fresh online application to the University of Venda, adhere to the steps listed below:

Step 1: Login Details

  • Go to the Univen application website: https://www.univen.ac.za
  • At the top menu of the page, click on “How to Apply.”

Step 2: Create a PIN

  • The applicant will be required to create a pin consisting of 5 digits. This pin will be used as a login pin on the student portal when admitted to study with the University

Step 3: Upload the Required Documents

  • Gather your documents or upload further/outstanding documents. These documents must be in the format required by the university.

Step 4: Pay Your Application Fee

  • Pay the Non-Refundable application fee of R100
  • During the online application process, you may save and return at a later stage to resume the application process.

Step 5: Submit Your Completed Application

  • Submit your completed online application form and documents. Review to ensure the right thing is done before clicking on the ‘submit button after completing your online forms
  • You will then get a student number.

How to track Univen Application Status 

Applicants will be notified via email of the outcome, or they can check the status of their application by following the steps below, which will redirect them to the ‘Application Status page.

  • Enter your ID number
  • Applicant’s details will appear
  • Qualifications that you applied for will appear with statuses showing whether you qualify or not for admission
  • On the right side of qualifications that you are qualifying for admission, click the “REQUEST OFFER” button to click
  • You will only be given one chance to choose one qualification
  • Make sure that you click on the qualification that you want to be admitted to.
