How To Appeal NSFAS Application For 2026
You can now appeal your NSFAS application decision if your application has been rejected either this year or in previous years. For all current and former students, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has opened an appeals portal. You can appeal your NSFAS application if:
The opening date for NSFAS appeals usually coincides with the rejection notification you receive. You have 30 days from the date of your application outcome to submit a formal appeal. Missing this deadline will unfortunately render your appeal invalid.
It is essential that you file your appeal within 30 days of receiving the results of your application.
