Who Pays the VUT Application Fee?

Any individual applying to study at the Vaal University of Technology for the 2026 academic year must pay the application fee as follows:

South African: R110 (non-refundable)
International students: R120 (non-refundable)
Payment Deadline: Must be paid before the application deadline

Exemptions:

No applicant is exempt from the application fee

When to Pay VUT Application (Payment Deadline)

Fortunately, all VUT courses will share the same application deadline. Vaal University of Technology will accept applications, including application fees, for the 2026 academic year, which begins on April 1 and ends on September 30, 2025. Usually, the application deadline and the application fee payment deadline fall on the same day.
