CUT Online Application 2024-2025 For Undergraduate

The Central University of Technology has opened its online application portal for undergraduate and postgraduate candidates to begin applying for the academic year 2024-2025. The online application login is a data collection and processing system used for admissions. Applicants for the academic year 2024-2025 should visit www.cut.ac.za, the official website of the Central University of Technology.

The Central University of Technology’s online application login will be available beginning Monday, May 08, 2023. Using a mobile phone and a strong internet connection, you can gain access to the Central University of Technology online application login or portal. Look for the application login or portal on the official website, https://www.cut.ac.za/application-process. You will need your ID number if you are a South African citizen and your passport number if you are a foreign student to enter the application login.

The Central University of Technology Online Application Login Open for 2024-2025

The Central University of Technology will begin accepting online applications from all prospective applicants for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees on Monday, May 08, 2023. The Central University of Technology will process all application forms received within the specified timeline for the 2024-2025 intake via the application login. All undergraduate courses will close on September 30, 2023, while postgraduate courses will close on September 29, 2023.

Dates for the Closing of Online Applications at CUT in 2024-2025

All programs’ applications for the 2024-2025 academic year open on Monday, May 08, 2023, and all undergraduate programs close on Saturday, 30 September 2023. Online applications for postgraduate programs, on the other hand, will close on Friday, September 29, 2023.

Because the university does not encourage or accept late applications, you should apply as soon as possible in order to secure a place for the academic year 2024-2025. To take advantage of this opportunity, complete the online application form for 2024.

If you log in to the Central University of Technology’s application portal, you can restart at the last section you completed if you were unable to finish it, but keep in mind the closing dates. You will need your student number and a 5-digit PIN to continue with the online application process.

You are ready to submit your application once you have completed the online application and uploaded all of your supporting documents via the application portal of the Central University of Technology!

Throughout the application process, the Central University of Technology will communicate with you to confirm receipt of your application and to update your application and document status. You can also track your application using your student number and the same five-digit PIN on the Applicant Portal. If you have forgotten your PIN, click the forget PIN button to receive a new PIN via email.

CUT Required Documents for 2024

The Central University of Technology prefers PDF documents, but doc, docx, jpg, jpeg, and png files can also be uploaded during the online application process. The documents should be certified at your local police station, and the certification period should not exceed 90 days at the time of the application. Remember that the Central University of Technology online application portal is open from Monday, May 08, 2023, to September 30th, 2023.

Please Note:

Please remember to create an online profile so that your application for 2024 admissions is considered. When creating the application profile for 2024 via the CUT application portal, you will need an email address and a phone number.

There is no application or Processing fee for the 2024 intake

You are only permitted to apply for two study options. The first qualification chosen will be considered your first choice, and the second will be considered your second choice. You must choose the qualification code and name from the provided “List of Values.”

Provide the following documents by uploading them via the Central University of Technology online application portal:

South African Applicant

Current Matriculants: upload Final Grade 11 results or Grade 12 June results.
Already Matriculated applicants: you will have to upload your certified ID and Senior Certificate.
Higher Qualifications than Matric: you will have to upload your certified ID, Senior Certificate, your qualification(s) and study record.
Postgraduate Applicants: Visit the Head of the Department / Assistant Deans, Research Innovation and Engagement to discuss a research project for Masters or Doctorate study before applying online. For more information, Postgraduate Studies.

International Applicant

Certified copy of your SAQA/HESA evaluation certificate;
Certified copies of your foreign school leaving/ college/ university qualifications;
Certified copy of your passport
South African-based medical aid
A valid study visa

How to Access the Central University of Technology Application Portal

To log in to the application portal of the Central University of Technology, click the username textbox and enter your student ID. Then, in the password textbox, enter your university password. When you log in, you will see a list of all the modules for which you have registered. Use your complete email address as well as your current password.

If you already have a student number, we will provide a URL to log into the institution Portal, iEnabler to apply
You need to use your student number and pin to log in
New/First-time applicants:
Make sure you have an active email address, all communication with CUT will be communicated via this email address
On each page click the “NEXT” button to SAVE data from the page
The Application process is only completed when the “SUBMIT APPLICATION“ button is clicked at the end of the process
A confirmation email should be received after successfully submitting your application. If you do not receive such an email, please email us at apply@cut.ac.za

Enter your ID/Passport number
To check your status, click the check button.
Go to the Admission Letter section to download and print your admission letter.
