Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Online Application 2025-2026

Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) will open the online application for the 2025–2026 academic year on Monday, May 13, 2024, and it will close at midnight on Friday, March 14, 2025, for all programs—postgraduate and undergraduate equally. This means that to be admitted to CPUT for the 2025 academic year, prospective students must submit their applications by March 14, 2025. After the closing date, CPUT may accept late applications if the desired qualification is still open. The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Application Dates for 2025

To apply to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, it is necessary to understand when to apply for a specific course or program. On May 13, 2024, the online application form, which includes a hard copy, will be available. Every student who wishes to study at CPUT for the academic year 2025 must electronically complete the online application form. May 13, 2024, is the official start date for all applicants to gain access to both the online and paper application forms.

Prospective applicants must submit all supporting documents, including a fully completed application form, as soon as possible before the closing date or deadline. CPUT will close all applications for the 2025–2026 application year on March 14, 2025. PLEASE NOTE: Even though late applications will be accepted beginning in February 2024, it is not advisable to wait until the last minute to apply. On September 30, 2024, all undergraduate courses will be terminated.

There is no application fee for applying to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology under any circumstances. However, the online application at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology is free, whereas the manual application is not. All manual applications are subject to an R100 non-refundable application fee. Applying online to CPUT is simple, and we encourage all new applicants to do so in order to benefit from the application fee waiver.

Application Documents Required for CPUT application for 2025-2026

Whether you apply online or in person, the following documents are required. Before submitting these documents, they must be certified.

Proof of your application fee payment ( An Applicant must provide a copy)
Your identity document’s first page (This must be certified)
A copy of the Senior Certificate or a comparable qualification (Certified). Please submit your Grade 11 grades. If you’re in Grade 12 right now,
Original Academic Records and a Certificate of Conduct, as well as verified copies of any other certificates, diplomas, or degrees you have previously acquired from any other higher education institution.
Any additional documentation required for the program to which you are applying, as specified in the application form and admission Requirements, must be submitted.

International Applicants will be required to submit the following documents (certified copies less than three (3) months old):

All qualification documents
Academic transcripts
Final certificates
SAQA certificate (compulsory for all International applicants)
Passport or Refugee/ Asylum Seeker Permit
