The University of Venda is still taking applications for the 2026 intake. Domestic applicants should submit their applications by September 30, 2025. The admissions office must receive all required documents from international candidates by October 31, 2025.
Application Requirements for UNIVEN 2026
Since the University of Venda is currently accepting new applications, students must have the following documents prepared for upload before beginning the online application
- A copy of the ID/passport document
- Matric certificate/Statement of Results/Grade 11/12 report
- Transcript of academic record and certificate of conduct
- Degree(s)/Diploma certificates
- SAQA Evaluation Certificate (If you are an international applicant)
- Proof of payment

- The applicant will need to create a 5-digit PIN.
- Scan and upload copies of the required supporting documents.
- Complete your application
- You will then receive a student number.
- After successfully submitting your online application, you can log into the My Access page to view your application details.

Univen Entry Requirements
Degree:
- The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by the Council for General and Further Education and Training (Umalusi) with an achievement rating of 4 (adequate achievement, 50-59%) or better in four subjects chosen from the recognized 20-credit NSC subjects
Diploma:
- The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi with an achievement rating of 3 (moderate achievement, 40-49%) or better in four recognized NSC 20-credit subjects
Certificate:
- The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi.
