Prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students are invited to apply to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), as the application portal is now open. Applications for the January 2027 intake will be accepted from April 1, 2026, until September 30, 2026. To apply, please visit the TUT portal at www.tut.ac.za and submit your form before the deadline. We encourage applications from students worldwide.

The perfect period to apply to Tshwane University of Technology is between April 1 and September 30, 2026, for the academic year 2027. TUT will only accept late applications if there is still available space after the deadline.

How to Apply

- Visit the TUT Online Application website: https://www.tut.ac.za/
- Click on βStudy@TUTβ in the top right corner.
- Select βApply Now.β
- Indicate whether you have a student number or are a new applicant.
- Choose if you are completing an existing application.
- Accept the consent form.
- Follow the prompts to fill out your application.
- Provide accurate personal information.
- Select your desired program(s).
- Upload all required documents in PDF.
- Click submit after review for correction
- Submit your application and pay the application fee online using a credit or debit card.
- You will receive a confirmation email with your application reference number, and you can track your application status on the portal.

Non-refundable Application Fee
The application fee for 2027 is R240. This non-refundable fee covers administrative processing costs. Payment can be made via postal order, electronic transfer, or direct bank deposit to the following account:

Admission Requirements
Before applying, ensure you meet the following criteria:
- Each program has its specific requirements.
