How to Apply Online at North-West University

Step 1: Visit the official website

- Register to get your student Number to enable you to continue the application process
Step 2: Login Details
- Log in with your new student number that was given after step 1
- This number is unique and must be kept well
Step 3: Choose the Courses
- What do you want to study?
- Choose your course after examining the specific course requirements. This stage is very key to gaining admission into this University
Step 4: Upload supporting documents
- Gather your documents or upload further or outstanding documents. These documents must be in the format required by the university.
Step 5: Submit the application
- Submit your completed online application form and documents. Review to ensure the right thing is done before clicking on the button or sending the hard copy either by mail or hand delivery.

As part of the online application process, prospective applicants will be required to upload supporting papers. This stage of the procedure is critical for gaining admission to North-West University to study. If you don’t upload these documents, your application will be rejected, and you won’t be able to apply again. Before beginning the application process, applicants should obtain the following documents:
Undergraduate Applicants
- Results from grades 12 and 11 (final results only) Alternatively, if you have previously passed matric, a copy of your matric certificate.
- A photocopy of your ID
- A copy of your transcripts (if applicable).
- Applicants who are currently enhancing their grade 12 results will be evaluated only after the NWU receives the improved results.
- Applicants who pursue the Cambridge, GED, or any other non-NSC curriculum, or who may be eligible for an exemption due to older age or post-school qualifications, must present a USAF exemption certificate.
