CUT Online Application 2027 Opening Date

The Central University of Technology (CUT) will open its 2027 online application portal on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. From this date, prospective students can begin submitting applications for all available programmes, including postgraduate qualifications.

CUT 2027 Application Closing Date

The application window for the 2027 academic year will close on 30 September 2026. This deadline applies to all undergraduate programmes as well as Advanced Diplomas, Postgraduate Diplomas, Honours, and Structured Master’s programmes.

Applicants should note that late or walk-in applications are not accepted. The online application system will close automatically at midnight on the deadline date, and no further submissions will be permitted after this time.

Requirements for the CUT 2027 Online Application

Before starting your application to the Central University of Technology (CUT) for the 2027 academic year, ensure that you have the following:

  • A valid email address and active phone number for communication
  • Reliable internet access to complete the online application process
  • Two study programme choices you intend to apply for
  • Scanned copies of your academic certificates or results
  • A valid Identity Document (ID) or passport

Documents Required for the CUT 2027 Application

Current Matriculants

Applicants who are currently in Grade 12 should upload:

  • A certified copy of your Identity Document (ID)
  • Your National Senior Certificate (NSC)

Applicants with Qualifications Higher Than Matric

If you hold any qualification beyond matric, you should upload:

  • A certified copy of your Identity Document (ID)
  • Your National Senior Certificate (NSC)
  • All relevant qualification certificates
  • Your official academic record or transcript

Postgraduate Applicants

Applicants intending to pursue Master’s or Doctoral studies are advised to first consult with the Head of Department or the Assistant Dean for Research, Innovation and Engagement to discuss their proposed research project before submitting an online application.

Applicants are required to log in using their student number and PIN in order to access and complete the application process.
