Where Can I Obtain UCT Application Form For 2026

The University of Cape Town will begin accepting online applications for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in April 2025. Any applicant who meets the admission requirements may apply. The University of Cape Town strongly urges all applicants to apply online, as they do not accept paper applications.

How to Apply at UCT

The University of Cape Town applications involve the following steps

Go to the official website
Select and Click on “Students” and then “Apply.”
Choose your application type. Undergraduate or Postgraduate
Follow the prompts and instructions carefully, filling in your details and uploading required documents

Application Date

The University of Cape Town (UCT) will start taking applications for 2026 on April 1, 2025. Even though the application process does not start until then, it is still a good idea to get ready in advance. All the information you need to properly submit your application is here.

Application Deadlines for 2026

Opening Date: April 1, 2025
Closing Date: July 31, 2025 (for undergraduate applications)
Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) Portfolio Deadline: September 30, 2025
International Applicants: November 30, 2025 (deadline for visa applications and admission offers)

Note: Undergraduate applicants must submit all necessary documents by July 31, 2025, to be considered. If you’re making any program changes, do so by August 31, 2025.

Where to get the UCT application form

To obtain the UCT application form, go to https://uct.ac.za/students/applications-apply/forms with a smart device and a compatible browser. When submitting an application form, read all of the available documentation to ensure that your application is complete, with all of the required information and documentation to support your application for the 2026 intake.

You can print and fill out the application form by hand, or you can fill out the online form and submit it by clicking the finished button after following all of the instructions.

UCT Application Fees

Each application that is submitted to the University of Cape Town requires the payment of an application fee. Applications for Semester Study Abroad (SSA) and UCT students and graduates are not required to pay an application fee unless they are applying to a Graduate School of Business (GSB) program.
