VUT Online Application 2024/2025 Closing Date: Vaal University of Technology’s management has announced the application deadline for the 2023/2025 academic year for any potential applicants who intend to apply to the Vaal University of Technology. VUT Application Processes-How to Apply

The Vaal University of Technology has two forms of Application. An Applicant chooses which of those two is suitable for him/her. An applicant can apply electronically or Manually for the 2024 academic year. Any of these methods are sanctioned by the management of the university

Online Application: This is where an applicant applies via the admission portal set up by the university by following the steps outlined in this article. This is the fastest approach to applying for admission. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Manual Application: This process/method involves an applicant downloading the application form, fill with ink and submit either by email or hand delivery to the admission office. This approach is usually slow in reaching the management for review.

VUT Online Application – To apply online, follow these procedures.

Phase 1: Choose Qualification

Go to Vaal University of Technology’s website and select the Admission LINK.
Choose your qualification for undergraduate or postgraduate applicants, and then proceed to the registration, application, and document uploading stages.

Phase 2: How to Get Student Numbers (First-Time Applicants)

You will be taken to the Vaal University of Technology Online Application System form after clicking the link in step one, where you must fill in all of the essential information. You must first register if you are a first-time applicant.

Definition of First-Time Applicant and Requirements

First-time applicants are those who have never used the Vaal University of Technology online application system before and do not have an account that allows them to log in using their username and password.

Requirements

At the registration stage, you’ll be asked for your name, email, password, program type, and qualification mode.

Phase 3: Upload the Required Documents

Everyone who is pursuing a new qualification must submit the necessary documentation. The application deadline is also the deadline for uploading the required papers.
After the application deadline has passed, no more documents will be considered.
The Vaal University of Technology does not have scanners or technological gadgets. Please make sure that all of your documents have been scanned and transferred to an electronic device before beginning the VUT Online Application process.

Phase 4: Pay Your Application Fee

Pay the application fee once you’ve received a student number from the Vaal University of Technology. Use the student number as well as the application fee reference number from the Vaal University of Technology.
Your application will be authorized and processed once the fee is paid. Please keep in mind that this fee is non-refundable.

Phase 5: Submit Your Application

To complete the application, the applicant must complete all steps from Home to Submit your application.
If your application for admission to study at the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) is incomplete, you will have to reapply during the following application season.

VUT Online Application Supporting Documents 2024/2025

Documents will be required of students applying to study at the Vaal University of Technology for the first time. Gather the following items before beginning the online application process because you’ll need to upload them as part of your application.

A copy of your academic credentials (e.g. Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
A copy of your tertiary academic transcript(s) (if applicable) (copies from the internet will not be accepted)
RSA students: a copy of your ID document or a copy of your ID/passport (international students)
A copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree (if appropriate) (if applicable)
If the documents are not in English or Afrikaans, sworn translations are required.

VUT Admission Criteria for 2023/2024

Check that you meet the entry requirements for your chosen qualification, as well as the required academic points score. A few late-approved accredited HEQSF Postgraduate Diploma programmes are currently open for applications.

No late registration will be allowed unless permission is obtained from the Faculty directly.
