UniZulu Online Applications Are Now Open For 2026

The University of Zululand (UniZulu) is currently accepting applicants for the 2026 academic year. You can now apply for your desired undergraduate or graduate course at one of South Africa’s leading universities, whether you are a national or non-national student. The University of Zululand does not guarantee submissions submitted after the deadline. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to ensure your spot in the course.

To apply to UniZulu, complete the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Selection Criteria

You must meet the minimum requirements and faculty criteria for the selected course.
You can apply for up to three study programs using the same application form.
Only one application form should be submitted for the 2026 academic year.
Submit the completed application form as instructed.
If you were previously denied admission, you may reapply for the 2026 academic year.
Applications must be submitted through the Central Application Office (CAO).

These fees are mandatory and must be paid with your application form.

Late Application Fees: If you missed the regular application deadline, you may still apply, but only if space is available in your desired program. Be aware of the additional late fees:

International students: R550

If you plan to submit a late application to Unizulu, act quickly, as spaces are limited and additional fees apply. The non-refundable late application fee must be paid before your application is processed. Be sure to keep a copy of the deposit slip as proof of payment.

An old Senior Certificate with an endorsement that the holder has complied with the minimum statutory matriculation requirements
