Documents Required for the University of the Free State Online Application 2025-2026

These documents should be submitted as soon as possible before the application deadline.

• If you are a South African citizen, bring your ID.
• If you are an international student, you will need your passport.
• If you are under the age of 18, you must present your parent’s ID or passport.
• Your final Grade 11 results, stamped by the school
• As soon as the grade 12 June results are available, they will bear the school’s stamp.
• If you have already matriculated, you can take the National Senior Certificate (NSC).
• Your academic record is only valid if you are or were a student at another institution of higher learning USAF accreditation from the South African university examination board Apply for conditional exemption, foreign conditional exemption, or mature age conditional exemption at mb.usaf.ac.za.
